Company History

The company Metzger & Mendle GmbH was founded in 1922 when they originally produced horn combs, later salad servers and egg spoons in synthetic resins and buttons in Plexiglas.

Today Metzger & Mendle is a progressive company in the business of synthetic materials processing with 16 extrusion machines working in a 3-shift system, a modern pad and screen printing department and the facilities for shrink-wrap, skin and blister packaging.

In 2002, Metzger & Mendle built up a complete range of stationery products with over 150 articles for hanging display in top quality blister packs.

With the support of the latest data processing systems (e.g. electronic order service - EDIFACT), Metzger & Mendle has a great deal of experience in handling large orders of all kinds.

Since 1970 Metzger & Mendle belongs to the Hoerauf & Kohler Group of Companies.

This group of companies employs approx. 400 people and enjoys a gross annual turnover in the region of 40 million euros.
